1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ('Terms') constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('User', 'Student', 'Organizer', or 'Faculty Member') and ALTIRON ONE GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED ('Company'), governing your use of the Campus Scene platform ('Platform'). By creating an account or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of a club, college, or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Platform Description
Campus Scene is a college event marketplace and management platform that enables:
- Students to discover, register for, and participate in college events and club activities;
- Event Organizers and Club Administrators to create, manage, and monetize college events;
- Faculty Members to track student attendance and engagement at events;
- College Administrators to oversee and approve events on their campus.
The Company acts as an intermediary platform and technology provider, not a co-organizer, event guarantor, or educational institution.
3. Account Registration
- You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Users under 18 must have verifiable parental or institutional consent.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
- You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- The Company reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently ban any account at its sole discretion for policy violations, fraudulent activity, or reputational harm to the Platform.
- Organizer accounts require Admin approval before activation. The Company may request supporting documentation including college affiliation proof, GST registration, or event licenses.
- Faculty accounts are activated upon verification of institutional affiliation provided by an authorized college administrator or organizer.
4. Fees, Payments & Revenue
4.1 User Payments
Event ticket prices are set by Organizers and displayed on event listings. A platform convenience fee per ticket is charged by the Platform to users at the time of purchase.
All payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. The Company does not store payment instrument data.
Refund eligibility is governed by the Organizer's refund policy. The Platform does not guarantee refunds unless an event is cancelled by the Organizer or taken down by the Company.
4.2 Organizer Revenue & Commission
Campus Scene currently operates on a zero-commission model for organizers. Organizers receive the full event revenue minus the per-ticket convenience fee retained by the Platform.
Revenue flow: User payments → Company escrow account → convenience fees retained → full ticket revenue disbursed to the Organizer's registered bank account within 5–7 business days post-event.
The Company reserves the right to introduce commission-based or subscription-based pricing tiers in the future, with 30 days' advance notice to existing organizers.
Disbursement may be withheld in cases of disputes, chargebacks, violations, or pending investigations.
4.3 Club Member Pricing
Organizers may configure member-based pricing discounts for club members. Discount validation is performed server-side at checkout upon verification of the user's club membership status. The Company is not liable for pricing errors arising from incorrect membership configuration by Organizers.
5. Organizer Obligations
- Organizers are solely responsible for the planning, execution, safety, and legal compliance of their events.
- Organizers must obtain all necessary venue permits, college approvals, and regulatory clearances before listing an event.
- All events are subject to Admin approval before going live on the Platform. Organizers must not circumvent the approval process.
- Organizers must not create fake, misleading, or fraudulent event listings.
- Organizers must honor registered participant slots and process refunds if an event is cancelled.
- Organizers may not alter entry fees, event format, or prize/certificate structures after participants have registered without obtaining consent.
- Organizers grant the Company the right to use event information, results, participant data, and aggregated insights for platform analytics, marketing, and product development.
- Organizers must not use the Platform to discriminate against participants on the basis of religion, caste, gender, disability, or other protected characteristics.
6. User Obligations
- Users must provide accurate registration details and not impersonate other individuals or institutions.
- Users must abide by event rules set by Organizers and campus policies of their institution.
- Users must not engage in fraudulent ticket transfers, unauthorized account access, or any conduct that compromises event integrity.
- Users must not post defamatory, abusive, or false content on the Platform.

7. Faculty Obligations
- Faculty members may only access attendance and student data for events and institutions to which they are assigned.
- Faculty must not share student data with unauthorized parties.
- Faculty accounts must be promptly deactivated by the Organizer or Admin when no longer in use.
8. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, software, branding, design, and features are the exclusive property of ALTIRON ONE GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without express written consent.
Organizers retain ownership of their original event content but grant the Company a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, distribute, and sublicense such content for platform and promotional purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for: (a) physical injuries or property damage occurring at events; (b) Organizer cancellations, delays, or mismanagement; (c) payment gateway failures; (d) force majeure events; (e) inaccurate certificates issued due to incorrect data provided by Organizers; (f) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use. The Company's maximum aggregate liability to any party shall not exceed the total convenience fees collected from that party in the 3 months preceding the claim.
